Terms of Use

Spiderhost Web Services (hereafter referred to as “Spiderhost”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides web hosting services to clients worldwide. We are committed to protecting our customers and delivering reliable, high-quality hosting solutions.

By using any Spiderhost services, including Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Cloud Hosting, VPS, and Dedicated Servers, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Service and Fair Usage Policy (FUP).

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Other Policies & Agreements

Use of Spiderhost services is also governed by the following policies:

  • Privacy Policy

  • Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

  • Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

By using our services, you agree to all applicable policies.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

Spiderhost reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service to anyone at its sole discretion.

  • Content that is illegal, obscene, abusive, threatening, or harmful is strictly prohibited.

  • Failure to respond to abuse-related emails within 48 hours may result in suspension or termination.

  • Only licensed and legal third-party software may be used.

  • Any activity involving child exploitation or child pornography will result in immediate termination and reporting to authorities.

  • Free domains such as .tk, .ga, .ml, .cf, etc. are not allowed without prior approval.

  • Courier, logistics, or delivery service websites require valid company registration and government-issued ID verification.

  • Hosting related to sanctioned or restricted countries (as per U.S. export regulations) is not allowed.

  • Bulk emailing or spamming is strictly prohibited on shared hosting.

No refunds will be issued for violations of this policy.

3. Resource Usage & Uptime

  • Shared hosting accounts are subject to CPU, RAM, IO, and IOPS limits under Fair Usage Policy.

  • Spiderhost aims for high uptime but does not guarantee 100% uptime.

  • Downtime caused by maintenance, third-party services, firewall blocks, attacks, or force majeure events is excluded from uptime guarantees.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly forbidden on Spiderhost servers:

  • Ponzi or pyramid schemes

  • Cryptocurrency mining

  • Gambling, lottery, or betting platforms

  • Malware, phishing, hacking, brute force scripts

  • File sharing, proxy services, bots, or IRC software

  • Pirated software, warez, illegal downloads

  • Adult escort services or human trafficking content

  • Game servers or online gaming platforms

  • Streaming copyrighted live events

Violation will result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

5. Billing & Refund Policy

  • Spiderhost offers Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, Annual, Bi-Annual, and Triennial billing cycles.

  • Domains, VPS, Cloud, and Dedicated Servers are non-refundable.

  • Shared and WordPress hosting include a 3-day money-back guarantee.

  • Payment failures or duplicate transactions will be refunded within 7–8 working days.

  • Accepted payment methods include Cards, Net Banking, UPI, IMPS, NEFT, and RTGS.

6. Late Payments

  • Services are suspended after 1 day of non-payment.

  • Services are terminated after 30 days of non-payment.

  • A 10% late fee may be added to overdue invoices.

  • Spiderhost is not responsible for data loss after suspension.

7. Reseller Responsibility

  • Resellers are fully responsible for their clients’ activities and content.

  • Free hosting under reseller plans is not allowed.

  • Any abuse may result in reseller account suspension or termination.

8. Shared Hosting Policies

  • Shared hosting may not be used for backup storage, file hosting, or image hosting.

  • Email storage is limited to 2 GB per cPanel.

  • SSH/Shell access is not available on shared hosting.

9. Zero-Tolerance Spam Policy

  • Any form of spam, bulk mailing, or spam-advertised websites is prohibited.

  • Accounts involved in spam will be terminated immediately.

  • No refunds will be issued for spam-related violations.

10. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

  • Excessive CPU, RAM, disk, or bandwidth usage is not permitted.

  • Hosting accounts must be used primarily for website hosting.

  • Spiderhost reserves the right to suspend accounts impacting server performance.

  • Unlimited plans are subject to fair usage limits.

11. Backups & Data Responsibility

  • Daily backups are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed.

  • Customers are responsible for maintaining their own backups.

  • Spiderhost is not liable for data loss under any circumstances.

12. Backup Restore Fees

  • Backup restoration is not included in hosting fees.

  • A restoration fee of ₹999 INR applies per request.

  • No backups are provided for suspended or terminated accounts.

13. Cancellation & Termination

Spiderhost may suspend or terminate services without notice for:

  • Policy violations

  • Abuse or misconduct

  • Harassment or abusive behavior toward support staff

No refunds will be provided.

14. Coupons & Discounts

  • Coupons are valid for first-time customers only.

  • Coupon abuse may result in account suspension or termination.

15. License Usage

  • Any software license provided by Spiderhost must be used only on Spiderhost servers.

  • License misuse will result in cancellation without refund.

16. Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of India.
Jurisdiction shall be Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

17. Disclaimer

Spiderhost shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including data loss or business interruption. All services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Spiderhost reserves the right to modify these Terms, Pricing, or Policies at any time without prior notice.
